Background:
Started in Pinewood Camera Department 1956, Went freelance in 1959. Worked as focus puller for Douglas Slocombe BSC and his camera operator Chic Waterson from then to the end of `Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom`.

Following that became DoP working on features, tv, drama, all formats from 65mm to hi def productions. Visited most countries in the world.

President of the BSC from 1994 to 1996, still on board of Governors. Also on BKSTS Counci.

Recently spent a year tutoring students in cinematography at various schools and academies."
