Background:
1964 - Family moved to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

1967 - Moved to Weybridge, Surrey, UK. O & A Levels at St. Georges College, Weybridge

1978-80 - Univ. of Santa Clara, California. Degree in General Humanities with emphasis on Television Directing. Freelanced as Studio and OB Cameraman in Bay Area.

1981 - Returned to England and freelanced as news cameraman for the American Networks, primarily for CBS. Covered news stories in Europe, Middle East and Far East.

Late 80`s - Moved into Documentaries  shooting for BBC, CH4, Discovery, PBS etc. Travelled extensively. Participated in a Cinematography Seminar at the International Film and Television School  Rockport Maine. Billy Williams BSC was the tutor. That week changed my life  changing my focus from Documentary to Drama.

1999 - `Wonderland`, my first feature directed by Michael Winterbottom, opened the door to the world of drama. Subsequently have worked on Features, TV Dramas and Commercials.
