On Wednesday 29th July, Mo Biddle and family, Ada’s many crew members and industry colleagues from the BSC joined Pinewood and Shepperton staff to witness the renaming of Shepperton’s newly refurbished Preview Theatre.
Following the six months refurbishment and modernisation the studio felt it was the perfect opportunity to honour one of the many Dop’s who had worked in the Studio.
The Biddle family: Alice, Mo, Esther, Alfie
During the plaque unveiling, to the delight of the audience, following an introduction by James Corless, Neville Shulman CBE, long time colleague of Sir Ridley Scott, paid memorable tribute to Adrian. Esther responded on behalf of the family. This was followed by an enjoyable tour of the new state of the art theatre and drinks, canapes and conversation in the Old House.

The theatre may be small in size but it has regularly been the home of some of the world’s finest cinematographers. In the last 10 years alone, Dion Beebe, Dan Mindel, Emmanuel Lubezki, Wally Pfister and Ben Davis have all reviewed their work in the space. The BSC are confident they will not be disappointed with this newly refurbished facility.
