Huge congratulations to Roger Deakins CBE ASC BSC who has been knighted in the Queens New Years Honours list “for services to film"!

Roger received Oscars for 'Best Achievement in Cinematography' for '1917' and 'Blade Runner 2049.' He has been nominated 15 times!

He has received 5 BAFTA's, 5 ASC and 7 BSC Awards for Best Cinematography in a Theatrical Release.

Roger is the first BSC Cinematographer to be so honoured. Roger is an alumni and now a fellow of the National Film and Television School.
