Stuart Howell BSC 1969-2024

It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of our member and friend, Stuart Howell BSC.

Stuart passed away on the 14th July after battling a rare and aggressive form of Bladder cancer. Despite undergoing treatment and surgery the cancer had spread beyond control. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends and especially his partner Lucy at this tragic time.

Stuart's career exemplified his high standard of work - from his work as an Operator and member of the ACO (Association of Camera Operators) on projects as wide-ranging as "The Crown" and "Under The Skin", to his later work as a Cinematographer receiving a nomination this year from the BSC for his photography of "A Small Light".
