I was interested in art and photography from a very young age, for as long as I can remember really. I got a second hand skateboard for my 13^th Birthday and from then on my love of film, photography and travel had a real focus. As well as spending pretty much every minute of every day skateboarding, my friends and I soon started to film each other and make skate videos – shooting on Hi-8 and editing on two old VHS machines.

I studied photography and art at college whilst continuing to make skate films in my spare time. As my friends and I got better at skateboarding, my filming began to progress and I was soon travelling the world filming for various skate brands - I slowly began to branch out into music videos, short films and commercials.

My love of film, photography and cinema developed and I was eager to learn more about cinematography - I went on to study at the National Film School under Brian Tufano.

Upon leaving the NFTS I continued to shoot music videos and commercials as well as feature films and TV Drama. I was invited to join the BSC in 2019 – a dream come true - I was kindly nominated by Oliver Stapleton.
