We are please to announce the criteria and timeline for the 2025 British Society of Cinematographers Awards. The full document can be found here: BSC Awards Criteria 2025 - FINAL 

We will be presenting four competitive awards in the field of Cinematography:

• Cinematography In A Feature Film
• Cinematography In A Television Drama (UK Terrestrial)
• Cinematography In A Television Drama (International/Steaming)
• Cinematography In A Music Video

Submissions will open on the 10th November and close on the 13th December. A full breakdown of eligibility requirements and dates can be found in the document. 

Nominations will be announced on Monday 12th January 2026 with the awards being presented at the 70th Annual British Society of Cinematographers Awards on the 7th February 2026.
