Maja is an NFTS graduate and was sponsored by the European Union to attend the prestigious Budapest Cinematography Masterclass with Cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond. Maja shot the first episode of Skins Redux (Company Productions) for director Charles Martin, and then went on to shoot 4 episodes of the comedy drama Dates, directed by Charles Sturridge and Philippa Langdale. Maja shot Fresh Meat III for directors Gordon Anderson and Jamie Jay Johnson.

Her graduation (stop-motion / animation) short, Playing Ghost, was selected by over 20 festivals worldwide including Brazil, Montreal World Film Festival, Encounters and Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, and her previous film, Freedom Day, directed by Janis Nords, was nominated for Best Directing and Best Cinematography at FujiFilm Shorts 2011.

Maja was named by Broadcast Magazine as their 'Hotshot' of 2014 and has recently wrapped on episodes of The Village Series II with director Jamie Stone and also episodes of Channel 4's comedy-drama CUT with director Robert McKillop. Her latest feature, Jet Trash, shot on location in India and directed by Charles Belville, is currently in post-production.
