BAFTA tribute to BILLY WILLIAMS BSC OBE

On Sunday 6th December, BAFTA paid tribute to Oscar winning cinematographer Billy Williams OBE BSC and presented him with a BAFTA award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to cinema. The event showcased his cinematography and included tributes from a selection of his most esteemed collaborators including actors, directors, producers and fellow crew members.

Having worked at the top of the industry for four decades, Billy’s credits include some of the most celebrated films in cinema history; Billion Dollar Brain, The Magus, Women in Love, Sunday Bloody Sunday, On Golden Pond and Gandhi to name but a few.
