When director/cinematogrpaher Roger Simonsz BSC was asked to direct a block of the hit series “Death In Paradise” he had the opportunity to ask Sue Gibson BSC to join him in Guadeloupe as the director of photography. This talk will explore the crucial relationship between the director and the DoP in bringing a series to screen in a tropical paradise. Was it light metres at dawn or rosy sunsets?
