BSC Operators Night 2018

 

This year, BSC Operators Night was held at a new venue, the exquisite Landmark Hotel in London, on Friday 30th November. The evening was hosted by President Mike Eley BSC.

Roger Deakins CBE ASC BSC toasted the Operators and Sean Savage Associate BSC, ACO offered a toast to the society (pictured above). 

 

                  

The reception and reacquainting with old friends 

 

Mike raised a toast to members who we sadly lost in 2018. Martin Hammond – Friend of the BSC, Jim Pollard – Friend of the BSC, Ian Mcmillan BSC, Peter Bath BSC, Ronnie Taylor BSC, Nic Roeg BSC and Mark Milsome GBCT.

Suzan Dormer (pictured above) from Screen Craft Rights was thanked for her amazing efforts in organising residuals for many of our cinematographers.

Ed Moore BSC was presented with his certificate by special guest Danny John Jules and Mark Patten BSC received his certificate from Spring 2018

 

Mike Eley presented the new Associate BSC members Iain Mackay and Jeremy Braben their certificates. A warm welcome to them both

A huge thank you from the BSC for your very generous donations and without couldn't have raised £4441.71 for our charities, a wonderful amount and we know will be greatly received by the Film and Television Charity (formerly known as Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund) and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children.
