Ring Yang BSC wins Best Cinematography at the VMAs!

Rina Yang BSC has won Best Cinematography at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York. Rina won for her Cinematography on the Taylor Swift video "Anti-Hero" which Taylor also directed. This marks Rina's first win and second nomination in this category, she was previously nominated in 2022 for All "All Too Well" again from Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift swept the awards on the night winning:

• Artist of the Year
• Best Pop (Anti-Hero)
• Show of the Summer
• Album of the Year (Midnights)
• Direction (Anti-Hero)
• Cinematography (Anti-Hero)
• Visual Effects (Anti-Hero)

Previous society members who have won the coveted Cinematography prize at the VMAs include Oliver Stapleton BSC, Mike Southon BSC and Robbie Ryan BSC ISC.
