Silver Frog EnergaCamerimage 2024 goes to Lol Crawley BSC for The Brutalist

Congratulations to Lol Crawley, BSC, on winning the Silver Frog for his outstanding work on The Brutalist at this year's Camerimage Film Festival.

Golden Frog EnergaCamerimage 2024 MAIN COMPETITION goes to MICHAŁ DYMEK for The Girl with the Needle, 

In the Main Competition, two other films shot by society members featured:

• The Fire Inside (dir: Rachel Morrison), Cinematographer, Rina Yang BSC. 
• Gladiator II (dir: Ridley Scott), Cinematographer, John Mathieson BSC. 

In the TV category was Shōgun "Anjin" photographed by Christopher Ross BSC. The Favourite (dir: Yorgos Lanthimos) featuring the Oscar-nominated Cinematography of Robbie Ryan BSC ISC and Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri (dir:Martin McDonagh) shot by Ben Davis BSC were screened as part of the festivals retrospective series. 

Lol Crawley, on Brady Corbet’s acclaimed Oscar contender The Brutalist, will receive the 2025 Robby Müller Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in January.
