The 2025 Television Craft BAFTA's took place in London on Sunday night and saw Christopher Ross BSC emerge victorious, winning the BAFTA for Best Photography & Lighting (Fiction) for his work on the hit show Shogun (FX). Chris won for his episode "Anjin".
Among the other nominees in the category were Stephen Murphy BSC ISC for Say Nothing, Benedict Spence BSC for Eric and Nick Morris for Sweetpea.
Eric shot by Benedict Spence BSC won the BAFTA for Best Costume Design. Baby Reindeer which featured the photography of Annika Summerson BSC captured two BAFTAs - Best Writing (Drama) and Best Director. Slow Horses won Editing and Sound, the 4th season of the show was shot by Danny Cohen BSC. Rivals which had Carlos Catalan BSC as one of its Cinematographers took Production Design and Hair & Make-Up. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power proved all-powerful in the VFX category, taking home the BAFTA for Special, Visual & Graphic Effects - Laurie Rose BSC was one of the cinematographers on this current season.
The awards for Best Actor, Actress, Series and more will be announced on the 11th May.
